Coffee Drinker Statistics 2012
According to the latest National Coffee Drinking Study from the National Coffee Association, 40% of 18-24 year olds are drinking coffee each day — this is a sharp rise from the 31% of this age group who said they enjoyed a daily dose of java during 2010. This increase brought the consumption of coffee among this age group back to its 2009 level. Not surprisingly, coffee businesses find that their regular customers are in the younger age group, particularly highscool, college, and newly employed

CAFE ON WHEELS COMING SOON...
Introducing our marketing plan: CAFE ON WHEELS!
Here's a quick summary of our proposal--We plan on targeting college students and people at the university of Fullerton as our main focus. We are aiming at consumers that vary from different
demographic, age, gender and cultural differences with the same interest of purchasing convenient
coffee. Entering the market with the knowledge of high competition from other
coffee stores locally, we came up with some creative inventions that no other
stores will have. Offering unique
desserts along with a wide range variety of coffee selections for our customers to choose
from in the most time efficient manner on a coffee truck.

I am the one of them and I didn't know that coffee was discovered by goats. Sheepherders found that the goats discoved coffee trees and they tried to boil and drank them. Then they felt confortable from them. That is said that the coffee has started as drink.

The shepherd shared his find with the abbott at a local monastery, where monks first brewed the beans into a hot drink, reveling in the way it kept them awake during long hours of prayer.

Coffee Shops
College students tend to spend a lot of their time in coffee shops. I know I spend a lot of time in coffee shops catching up with emails, studying for tests, or catching up with friends. However, there are a lot of times that the atmosphere can be overwhelming ! Long lines or little to non personal space . Does anyone else have any complaints about the typical coffee shops?

NEW STARBUCKS--BLOND ROAST
Did you know that light coffee beans has more caffeine
than dark ones?
Unfortunately, many people perceive that darker coffee beans has more caffeine than lighter ones due to the color assumption, the darker the bolder! They also think that darker coffee beans has a stronger after taste as a result of misleading them to believe that the more bitter the coffee the stronger it is.
Truth is...
" When coffee beans are roasted, the beans undergo a series of physical changes including growing in size, becoming lighter in weight but also burning off some caffeine. The longer the beans are roasted (the darker the beans), in general, the less caffeine they will have solely due to them having more and more caffeine being burned off."(Weekly-roast.com)
